Used in conjunction with the Solar Survey 200R irradiance meter, the PV150 also records and displays irradiance and temperature measurements in real-time alongside electrical tests.The Seaward Solar PV150 Installation Test Kit enables the electrical safety and performance of solar PV installations to be fully tested in accordance with National and State requirements as well as the new IEC 62446 requirements. In addition the Seaward PV150 Solar Tester has an onboard memory capable of storing up to 200 test records which can be downloaded to a PC via USB and new Solarlink connectivity allowing wireless capture of irradiance & temperature data from the Seaward Solar 200R Survey Meter.
The Solar PV150 Test Kit allows ground continuity, insulation resistance, open circuit voltage, short circuit current and operational testing to be performed on a PV system and is supplied with MC4 test leads for direct connection with solar PV strings, modules and arrays for safer testing.
When used in tandem with additional Seaward SolarCert Elements software, the 200 result memory of the PV150 can be quickly downloaded and imported into professional test certificates and reports.
New Seaward Solarlink allows the Solar PV 150 Installation Tester to connect wirelessly with a Solar Survey 200R and record real time solar irradiance, ambient temperature and PV module temperature data. This added features means that users can simultaneously take all the measurements required by all state and national best practice protocol. The Seaward Solar PV150 is the test tool for PV Installer.

Transforming the way that PV systems are tested, the PV150 replaces the three separate instruments which are ordinarily used for commissioning tests; combining ground continuity, insulation resistance, open circuit voltage, short circuit current, operating current (uses supplied AC/DC current) and DC operating power test functions into one handheld unit. The kit includes MC4 adaptors (other adaptors available on request) which enable safe and easy connection of the tester to the installation PV modules, strings or array.
As well as a comprehensive range of electrical test functions, the PV150 has built in memory to store up to 200 complete test records with USB connectivity to enable these to be quickly and easily downloaded to a PC. When coupled with Seaward’s SolarCert Elements software program, professional test certificates and reports can be created.
