Enphase ET-SEAL-1 Water Tight Cap for M215, Quantity 1
One needed to cover each unused connector on the cabling.
ET-SEAL-1 (quantity 1)
Cover any unused connector with a sealing cap. Listen for two clicks as the connectors engage. Ensure that both latching mechanisms have engaged.
DO NOT use the shipping cap to cover unused connectors. The shipping cap does not provide an adequate environmental seal. Enphase sealing caps are required for the system to be UL compliant and to protect against moisture ingress
The Enphase System

Enphase has pioneered a new approach to managing solar power that makes solar systems smarter and more efficient.
Traditionally, solar panels are connected together in series circuits fed into a single, central inverter device. This means that one inverter controls tens, hundreds or even thousands of solar panels as if they are one unit operating at the same power level. This approach reduces the overall system efficiency and limits the available information about individual panel health.
Enphase replaces these large central inverters with small micro-electronics that attach to each solar panel.
