Question: I have multiple meters and multiple PG&E accounts on adjacent properties. If I install a solar PV system on one of these properties, can all my accounts and properties benefit?
Answer: PG&E offers a Net Energy Metering Aggregation (NEMA) program, which allows a single customer with multiple accounts and properties to benefit from solar on one or numerous meters.
There are a few requirements to qualify:
All accounts must be located on the same property (or adjacent properties) to the renewable energy system.
All properties must be owned, leased, or rented by the same customer who is also listed as the PG&E customer of record.
The generating system output cannot exceed the combined annual consumption of all properties involved.
