What is busbar ampacity and how do I find my main panel’s busbar ampacity?

The ampacity of the busbar refers to how much current the main panel busbar is rated for, and this can be found on the label of your main panel. If you no longer have the panel label or if it is not legible, we recommend you assume the busbar ampacity to be the same as the ampacity of the main breaker in the panel.
