The Lithion GridBox GB3 is a high-energy-density Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) built specifically for commercial and industrial applications. It features LiFePO4 battery modules, integrated module- and system-level fire detection and suppression, air cooling, and overcurrent protection. The system is built as a DC-only block, allowing it to pair with the inverter of your choice.

A purpose-built IP55 (NEMA 3R) enclosure protects against environmental elements to extend service life, and the system includes a U.S.-made Lithion XB battery management system with three-level protection, CANbus/Modbus support, UL/IEC safety compliance, state-of-health reporting, and SD-card event logging.

The GB3 is available in four module configurations (4, 5, 6, or 7 modules), ranging from 120kWh to 211kWh per system, and supports up to 8 units in parallel for a maximum scalable capacity of 1,688kWh.
